MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE MEETING UPDATES
This is the update from the April 2012 League Manangement Committee meeting
League Management Trophy
The Semi Final draw for the League Management Trophy will take place at the Division Three Cup Final on 17th April 2012, with the games being played on Saturday 5th May 2012. The draw will be published on the League Website by Wednesday lunchtime.
The Final of the League Management Trophy will take place on Saturday 12th May 2012 at Met Police Chigwell FC with a 2.30pm kick off.
Next Season
With the large number of applications for new teams to join the League next season the League Management Committee have voted to propose the addition of a fifth tier to the Competition. This means we will be looking at running Premier Division down to Division Four next season. This means that as advised at last year’s AGM some teams who have finished in the bottom half of the Third Divisions will be moved to the new Fourth Divisions. The exact proposals for next season will be forwarded with the AGM paperwork in the early part of May. It is really important if any current Club thinks they might be struggling to compete next season that they let us know as we wish to try to avoid some of the situations we had this season.
Administration
As a League we try to help Clubs and at some times this has backfired on us this year when we have been trying to do the right thing. Please take this as notice that next season we will be a lot tighter on Competition rules which means a large increase in the number of fines that are likely to be issued. The reason for this decision is a combination of complaints we have received for trying to help people and with the very large size we will be next season we need Clubs to help us by completing all their admin on time e.g. Results Sheets must be completed by Tuesday. The only reminders people will receive next season will be a Charge Notice.
