NEW SEASON REMINDERS
As mentioned at the Annual General Meeting I would again remind Clubs the importance of doing things on time to cut down on the Officers workload
disappointingly we are still short of fourteen Annual Subscriptions, whilst I know about a couple of these it isn’t a very good start to the season. Please see below a reminder of the deadlines that are approaching:
Annual Subscriptions
These were due at the AGM at the latest. We have fourteen outstanding.
Return of Admin Forms
These are due by 20th June at the latest. So far there are twenty eight outstanding. I am happy for these to be submitted without the ECFA affiliation number if you don’t have it yet.
ECFA Affiliation Number
This needs to be advised to me by 30th June. It will take you a few days to get this number from the County when you submit your forms to them so realistically you need to have paperwork with them by 25th June. So far only 32 Clubs have affiliated for next season.
Player Registrations
Clubs must have submitted a minimum of eleven correctly completed Registration forms per team by 1st September 2012. In the envelopes you collected at the AGM there is a note giving your Registration Secretary address details and a reminder of this date. The earlier you can get the forms in the better. Andy and Geoff have a massive workload at the start of the season and it is unfair on them to expect to do 75% of it in a week.
Instruction Under Rule 5 (H)
Clubs are instructed under Rule 5(H) that they must use the correct postage when submitting registration forms to the League. Any Club failing to do this will be fined at the discretion of the Management Committee. The Committee will decide on the level of this fine when they meet in September but the proposal will be £30 per offence. This may seem a bit harsh but if you fail to use the correct postage both Geoff and Andy have to make a journey into Chelmsford to collect your forms from the Sorting Office which is a trip they don’t need to be making and it happens every season.
