Sep 20, 2018 — Cup Finals 2019

We are delighted to announce the dates for our League Cup Finals for 2018/19 These will be held at Aveley FC and the revamped Bowers & Pitsea FC. This provides us with two excellent venues with removing weather concerns due to the 3G pitches at both.

Aug 13, 2018 — Message from Registration Secretary

While most Clubs have started to send through players for registration there are some who have not started the process.. All players even if they are on your list from last season have to be approved(registered) for this season. Whilst this is now done through the Whole Game System players still have to give their consent to play(ie sign-on)and you have to submit them to me.

Aug 8, 2018 — League App

Due to GDPR changes we have removed the Club Directory from the website. Details are available online to Member Clubs and Match Officials on our Panel via the League App.

Jun 23, 2018 — Constitution 2018/19

Following the AGM we have been able to fill two of the gaps in the Constitution. We now have eight six teams in the Over 35 competition and thirty teams in the Over 45 competition making a total of one hundred and sixteen teams in total. The Divisions will appear on Full Time once all the Clubs have completed their affiliation

Jun 23, 2018 — Referees Required

The League has increased to one hundred and sixteen teams for next season. We are looking for Referees of all experience levels. We have games suitable for newly qualified Referees and we are also looking for Referees with the experience required for our top Divisions.

May 28, 2018 — Referee Panel and Club Details Section

The Referee Panel and Club details section have been removed from the website following the introduction of GDPR

May 5, 2018 — Premier Division Cup Final Tuesday 8th May 2018 - Postponed

Tuesday Premier Division Cup Final has had to be postponed. Little Thurrock Dynamos and Hutton Old Boys were removed from the competition as the case was found proven by the Essex FA that both sides caused the abandonment of their Semi Final. Little Thurrock Dynamos have appealed against the League’s decision to remove them from the Competition

May 2, 2018 — League 25th Anniversary Dinner

2018 marks the 25th Anniversary of the Essex Veterans Football League which has grown from 7 clubs in 1993 to over 110 teams and 3,000 over 35 players from the County of Essex.
