CRICKETERS HORNDON SAXONS RESIGN FROM THE LEAGUE

This week Cricketers Horndon Saxons have apologised to the League for their actions and resigned from the League.

This came about as a result of registering and playing players who were underage in previous seasons, playing an underage player in an Over 45 game who was a registered player for the Over 35 team, being unable to provide proof of dates of birth for nearly half their squad when requested and knowingly playing an ineligible player on a registration check.

The players who submitted incorrect Registration Forms were:

James Cain

Garry Read

Gary Scott

A reminder is given to Clubs that they will need to hold proof of birth for every player next season so the recommendation is you gather this information now and inform the League of any errors you find.
