Oct 14, 2023 — Reminders Team Sheets and Under Age Players

TEAM SHEETS Players only have to sign team sheets and complete date of birth and post code if challenged by opponents. This means you can complete all the details of players you expect to turn up and give the sheets to the opponents and Referee as soon as they arrive. This avoids any fines. We know team sheets are something else for managers to do, however they have already quickly been able to clear up six cases of unregistered players playing in the League.

Jul 27, 2023 — Constitution 2023/24

Please see below Constitution for the new season. This has probably been the hardest Constitution I have been involved in creating. With so many teams dropping out last season it left big gaps in the Constitution. Having listened to Clubs saying they wanted more teams in the Divisions you will see in the Over 35's we have dropped from nine to seven Divisions. I would not be surprised if we had teams drop out in the next month. You will see I have marked that some teams may transfer Divisions if we have drop outs before 2nd September.

Aug 7, 2022 — Constitution 2022/23

As advised at the AGM we delayed issuing a constitution until now. This was because historically we have issued the constitution a day before the AGM and then had multiple teams withdraw on the day of the AGM and again having teams withdraw when it came to registering players. This has been the case again this season. By delaying the constitution release we have been able to balance the Divisions better. The constitution for 2022/23 is as below

May 15, 2022 — Secretary Annual Report 2021/22

After the last two years of curtailed seasons, it has been excellent to complete this season and to have League Champions in each Division. This will also help us in trying to balance the Divisions for next season. Our aim as always is to provide competitive football whatever the standard. What we do need is Clubs to try to get players to commit to playing on a regular basis. We have tried to ensure as many games as possible are played by allowing re-arrangements at short notice, sadly this appears to have led to a few teams taking advantage of this which has led to opponents going weeks without football which isn’t right. The Committee will be reviewing our policy for next season on postponements to try to get the correct balance.
