Essex Saturday Veterans Cup Quarter Finals

Manford Way’s Manager Ronnie Bates expert use of rolling substitutions had a major impact against the eleven man squad of AFC Wivenhoe. This included the first half introduction of Che Stadhart who broke the deadlock after 37 minutes with a stunning strike with the outside of his boot from forty yards out. After the break Che Stadhart completed his hat trick which included a penalty. Chris Anderson scored Manford Way’s other goal to set a meeting with the winners of the Debden Sports and Hutton Old Boys tie which will be played next week. In the other tie to be played it went with Divisional superiority as Little Thurrock Dynamos beat Little Waltham 3-1
