TIER 3 CHANGES

You will no doubt have seen the announcement earlier today that London and parts of Essex have been placed into Tier 3 of Coronavirus restrictions.  We are currently awaiting advice from the Government/FA on what this means for playing fixtures.

The current advice is that adult teams cannot travel between Tier 2 and Tier 3, we expect this to continue which means some sides will not be able to play any games.

There is also advice that teams within Tier 3 cannot travel to different Tier 3 areas. We are awaiting advice as to exactly what the Tier 3 areas are e.g. is Essex Tier 3 a single area or how is it split?

We will not be appointing any Referees to fixtures until we know what games, if any can go ahead.
