The Annual General Meeting of the Greene King Essex Veterans League Annual General Meeting will take place on Wednesday 8th June 2016 commencing 7.30pm. This will be held at The Premier Suite, Essex County Cricket Club, New Writtle Street, Chelmsford CM2 0PG. Please note access is via a staircase
May 30, 2016 — Secretary Annual Report 2016
I normally write this report as being a summary of the League activity from the League’s perceptive. This year it is my own personal views and should not be taken as the views or opinions of the League. Until this season I have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of being involved in the League as a player, Club Official, League Officer, Referee and just watching games being played.
Apr 28, 2016 — West Essex A
West Essex A have withdrawn from Division Four West. Their record has been expunged as they have not completed 75% of their fixtures.
Apr 21, 2016 — Hawkwell Athletic
Hawkwell Athletic have advised us they will not be able to fulfil any further fixtures. As a result of this they will not be able to complete 75% of their games so their records have been expunged.

Feb 18, 2016 — Cricketers Horndon Saxons Resign from the League
This week Cricketers Horndon Saxons have apologised to the League for their actions and resigned from the League. This came about as a result of registering and playing players who were underage in previous seasons, playing an underage player in an Over 45 game who was a registered player for the Over 35 team, being unable to provide proof of dates of birth for nearly half their squad when requested and knowingly playing an ineligible player on a registration check.
Jan 16, 2016 — League Funds
At the recent meeting the League Management Committee are concerned about the high level of money the League currently have. We are looking to re-distribute some of this to Clubs.
